And suddenly, just like that, I hate The Decemberists. Back in 2003 I got hold of a copy of Castaways and Cutouts and fell in love with it. It had smart lyrics and I was drawn to Colin Meloy's vocals because I tend to lean towards people with either unique or just bad voices. Today I'm not sure what category he falls into. I haven't listened to them in forever (relatively speaking) but today when a song popped on the speakers in the coffee shop I cringed. Anyone want a couple of free CD's?
