This is what happened the last time I bought a Mac

The following is a video I helped create for an internal meeting at IDX (now GE Healthcare IT).  I was a member of the eCommerce install team for Groupcast clients.  iSolutions was the team that included development for the eCommerce product.  Issues existed, as always with new products, and so the iSolutions group asked the install teams for Groupcast and Flowcast (hospital side... at least that is what I remember the group being called) to come to a meeting with a list of concerns, etc...

Nick Morehouse, our leader at the time, decided it would be nicer if we made a funny but information video.  I was the only person at the time on the team who had a Mac, one of those first white iBooks, and so it was decided that I needed to create this video.  No idea why people thought because I had a Mac I could create video.  Anyways, a girl on the team (Kate Whetherby ?) had a new video camera with a firewire connector and so a project was born.

As I remember it, a group of us met once to make some rough plans on skits and decide which of our co-workers would be actors.  The next afternoon we shot the whole thing, and I worked pretty much all weekend editing the bastard with iMovie.  Unless you worked at IDX in or around eCommerce in the 2001 to 2003 timeframe this video will make absolutely no sense to you.

People who worked on my team at IDX during this time will probably hate me if they see this movie simply because we all ended up watching it about 100 times over the course of a few months.  However, I got a big kick out of seeing it again after all this time.

Hopefully I won't get sued for the music I sliced in.  And yes that is Phish at the end... this was made in Vermont after all.
