Jimmy Page, The Edge, Jack White together in a documentary. I'm extremely interested to see this movie whenever I get a chance to because I'm a big fan of all of their music.
Even so, does The Edge sort of feel like the odd man out in this? Jimmy Page, for sure, in my book is a guitar god and I don't think Jack White is too far off from this title. But The Edge?
I love U2, and have for a long time but The Edge doesn't strike me as one of those get down and dirty sweat it out and shred guitar gods. There is even a scene in the trailer where he switches off all his effects pedals and sounds to be barely playing anything.
Either way, I'm totally down to see this if and when it comes to my area. Which is probably never and I'll have to either drive to Asheville to see it or wait until I can get my eyes and hands on it some other way.
