Electro-Music 2008

This past weekend a group of us heading over to the Kingsport Renaissance Center for the Electro-Music 2008 event.  It was interesting for sure, and quite a treat for a electronics/gadget nerd like me.  I've been checking out the website since the event, and this is definately a hardcore hobby for a lot of people.

The coolest thing about it is that it actually happened here in the Tri-Cities (after having a home for the last 3 years in Philadelphia).  I would probably go back again.

Becky and I met up with Ben, Cam, and Mac to go (with some always awesome Tomy Thai beforehand). 

Ben dove right in and started figuring some of the machines out in the demo room... I recorded a but of those sounds with my phone:
