My trip from Greenville, SC to Fairbanks, AK

Back in 2000, my brother, our friend Freddie, and myself drove from Greenville, South Carolina to Fairbanks, Alaska. My brother, who is in the Air Force, was being transferred there and we all decided to make a road trip out of it.

Three guys in a Nissan Pathfinder for a lot of days. Up through the middle of America and into the deep of Canada. We traveled across the Alaska Highway and I saw some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen.

Some of it was freaky. Particularly the "motel" we spend the night at in Pink Mountain, British Columbia. And the fact that one day we drove for nearly 15 hours and never saw another car.

In the end it was awesome and I have a lot of vivid memories. However, I doubt I'd try it again.
